Wichita is 0-7-0-1 vs. Missouri

HEAD-TO-HEAD - This is the ninth meeting of the season between the Thunder and the Mavericks. All-time, Wichita is 35-29-4 against Missouri and 15-14-3 on the road in the series.

TODAY - Wichita plays its final game of 2015 and begins a three-game road trip tonight against Missouri. The Thunder played back-to-back games against Allen and dropped both by a one-goal margin. The Mavericks won their last game on December 26th in Allen by the final of 3-1. Missouri plays tonight against the Thunder and will follow that up with an afternoon tilit on New Year's Day against Allen at 4:10 p.m. The Mavericks lead the Independence Cup Series, winning seven meetings in regulation and one in a shootout.

CLOSE CALL - Wichita has played in 15 one-goal games this season and last night was no different. In fact, the Thunder have had a game decided by one in five of the last six contests. The Thunder are 5-6-1-3 in that situation.

STREAKING - Mason Baptista has points in his last two games, adding an assist last night and a goal on Sunday. Michael Neal has three points (1g, 2a) in his last three games, collecting a helper last as well against the Americans.

SERIES LEADERS - Tyler Barnes and Rocco Carzo lead the Mavericks with eight points against the Thunder in the season-series. Barnes has four goals and four assists while Carzo has eight helpers. Mason Baptista and Dalton Reum each have three points apiece for the Thunder against Missouri.

GOALIE MATCH-UP - Josh Robinson is 4-0-0-0 against the Thunder with a goals-against average of 1.25 against the Thunder. He also has a solid .943 save percentage in four appearances this season. Grant Rollheiser has a goals-against of 3.37 and save percentage of .901 in three starts against the Mavericks.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN - Wichita hits the road to finish out 2015 as they play at Missouri on New Year's Eve. After the game, the Thunder heads to Indy on Saturday night to face the Fuel and finishes the weekend at Evansville on Sunday. Wichita's first home game in 2016 is Friday, January 8th against Tulsa.
