Komet Forward Scott Fleming Gets Call from Worcester

Fort Wayne, IN --- The Komets announced Tuesday that rookie forward Scott Fleming has been called up to Worcester of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Fleming, 26, has appeared in all 39 Komet games to date and ranks second among ECHL rookies with 23 assists and 34 points. Fleming has accumulated 26 penalty minutes and leads Fort Wayne's plus-minus with +13.

The Worcester Sharks are the primary affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks.

Komets to skate three games in four nights this week, host Elmira Friday-- The Komets will make their only trip of the season to Wheeling (19-16-6, 44 points) Wednesday when they face the Nailers at 7pm.

The Komets will complete their season series against Elmira (13-22-4, 30 points) when the Jackals visit Friday for an 8pm faceoff.

Saturday the Komets cap the week with a trip to Cincinnati (24-12-2, 50 points) to battle the division rival Cyclones at 7:35pm.
