
Knights to Host Marvel Comic Day

FORT MILL, S.C. - August 16, 2007 - The Charlotte Knights, Triple-A baseball and Marvel Comics are teaming up for Marvel Comics day which will be held on Sunday, August 19 at Knights Stadium during the Knights 2:15 p.m. game against the Indianapolis Indians.
The first 5,000 fans will receive a limited edition comic book. The comic books feature popular Marvel Comic characters such as Spiderman, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man. Fans will also be able to see the Incredible Hulk, Spiderman and Wolverine live and in person during the game.
Kids 12 and under can dress up as their favorite Marvel Comics character and receive free admission to the game. The Kid with the best costume will win a free suite for the Knights September 2nd game against the Durham Bulls.
Gates for the event will open at 1 p.m. The limited edition comic books will only be available on August 19th.
