Knights acquire Danny Fritsche and Adam Dennis

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights General Manager Mark Hunter today announced that the team has acquired Centerman Danny Fritsche from the Sarnia Sting and Goaltender Adam Dennis from the Guelph Storm in 2 separate Ontario Hockey League trades today. The Knights traded 3 Draft Picks ( Kingston's 5th in 2005, London's 3rd in 2006 and 2nd in 2007 ) to the Sarnia Sting for Danny Fritsche. Fritsche, 19 was the Sting's 1st Round Pick in the 2001 OHL Draft. Fritsche is a 2 time member of the US National Junior Team and was chosen in the 2nd Round at the 2003 NHL Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Knights acquired Goaltender Adam Dennis in exchange for Ryan MacDonald and 3 Draft Picks ( London's 4th in 2006, 5th in 2006 and 6th in 2006 ). Dennis, 19 was a member of the 2003-2004 Ontario Hockey League Champion Guelph Storm. Dennis is currently in his 3rd season in the Ontario Hockey League with the Guelph Storm. Both players are expected to be at the John Labatt Centre on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 for practice. The Knights host the Kitchener Rangers on Thursday, January 13th at 7:00 PM.
