London Knights News Release

The busiest weekend of the offseason saw the London Knights add 19 players to the organization through the 2026 OHL Priority Selection and OHL Under-18 Priority Selection, highlighted by first-round selection Ryan Beaulieu.

With the 14th overall pick, the Knights selected London native Ryan Beaulieu from the Elgin Middlesex Canucks. Beaulieu carries a strong connection to the organization as the son of Josh Beaulieu, a member of the Knights' 2005 Memorial Cup championship team.

The Knights continued to add skill up front in the second round, selecting Ryker Kesler and Jack Samek with the 27th and 37th overall picks. Kesler brings another familiar hockey name to the organization as the son of longtime NHL forward Ryan Kesler, while Samek adds another highly-skilled forward to London's prospect pool.

The Knights turned their attention to the crease in the third round, selecting goaltender Brian Cooke before adding three consecutive defencemen in the fourth round. Joseph Chiella, Kosta Housseas, and Jackson Marthaler were selected with back-to-back-to-back picks, strengthening the organization's blue line depth.

London continued to build its forward group with the selections of Ewan Sim in the fifth round and Graham Littlejohn in the sixth round before adding Cash McElmurry, Christopher Pinko, and Patrick Taylor on day two of the draft.

The defensive pipeline continued to grow with the additions of Jamal Havusic, Liam Klubertanz, and Stuart DeMunnik, while goaltender Zeller Clark-Schoeb rounded out the club's selections in the 14th round.

In addition to their selections in the OHL Priority Selection, the Knights also welcomed forwards Cameron Godard and Ethan Haklander, along with goaltender Andrew Menlove through the OHL Under-18 Priority Selection.

The London Knights would like to welcome all 19 players and their families to the organization.
