Otters silent on deadline day

Erie Otters News Release
The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League did not make any moves today as the 6 p.m. OHL Trading Deadline passed.
The Otters, 21-12-4-4 on the season and coming off back-to-back road victories, chose to keep their roster in tact as they head into the playoff stretch.
"We like the way our team looks and addressed some of our needs with roster moves prior to the holiday break," said Otters General Manager and Managing Partner Sherry Bassin. "I did talk to a number of teams leading up to the deadline but from a needs standpoint the asking price was simply too high. We have a good young team that can compete this season."
In general, the OHL deadline was a relatively quiet with only a handful of deals made.
