John Jenkins recorded a double-double as the Westchester Knicks (5-2), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, knocked off the Erie BayHawks (2-4) 127-121, at Erie Insurance Bank Arena on Friday night. The Knicks hope to improve its three-game win streak when the BayHawks pay a visit to Westchester County Center Sunday, November 18.

The New York Knicks announced November 5 that it has assigned center Luke Kornet to the Westchester Knicks.

Through 36 games played with Westchester last season, Kornet averaged 16.1 points per game on 48.9-percent shooting and 6.2 rebounds per game. For New York this season, Kornet has appeared in four contests.

The Knicks led from opening tip to the intermission owning the hosts by as many as 15 while the second half saw a more competitive matchup.

Westchester put together a 16-9 run over the final quarter's first eight minutes to go back up double-digits.
