Kitsyn and Burt Head to Ontario

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have reassigned left wing Maxim Kitsyn to the ECHL's Ontario Reign and released defenseman Cameron Burt from his professional tryout agreement, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Kitsyn, 22, registered three goals and one assist for four points in 20 games with the Monarchs this season and is tied for third among Monarchs rookies with three tallies. Prior to turning pro, he appeared in eight games with the Kontinental Hockey League's Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo during the 2012-13 season.

Burt, 26, registered one goal and five assists in nine games with the Monarchs this season. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound native of Detroit has also collected nine points (2-79) and 10 penalty minutes in 14 games with Ontario this season. Burt recorded 38 points (2-3638) and 70 penalty minutes in 61 games with the Reign during the 2012-2013 season.
