
Kings place 7 players on Frontier League All-Star teams

Kalamazoo- The Frontier League announced their All-Star teams for next Wednesday's game and the Kalamazoo Kings placed seven players on the East team.
Three pitchers and four position players make up the squad heading to Rockford, IL. Starting pitchers John Brownell and Brandon Parillo will join closer Tommy Mejia as the hurlers going.
Outfielder Brandon Anderson will join infielders Joe Ramos and Amos Ramon along with catcher Jett Ruiz to make up the everyday players going.
The Kings are in first place in the East Division and therefore will send Manager Fran Riordan to run the East team for the second year in a row. Fran has chose fellow coaches John Sexton and Joe Rosenhagen as well as Florence's Toby Rumsfield and Greg Stone to fill out his coaching staff.
The Frontier League All Star Game will take place at Road Ranger Stadium in Loves Park, IL on Wednesday July 15th with a 7:05 pm CDT start time.
The Kalamazoo Kings are a part of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league.
