
Kings get revenge on Grizzlies

The Kalamazoo Kings enacted revenge on the Gateway Grizzlies Tuesday night in Kalamazoo. After a 12-5 win Monday night, the Grizzlies fell 8-0 Tuesday in Kalamazoo, MI.
The Grizzlies are now 22-28. Kalamazoo is 29-21.
The Grizzlies managed just four hits against Kings' starter Jeff Garner, who tossed his first complete game of the year.
Nathan Roush (2-3) took the loss for the Grizzlies. Roush lasted just 4 1/3 innings, allowing seven runs, four earned on 12 hits. He walked two and did not strike out a hitter. Matt Powell tossed 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief. He allowed just two hits, and struck out a hitter.
Jimmy Reiter, Mike Breyman, Ryan Sullivan and Gary Gilbert each had a hit for the Grizzlies in the loss.
The Grizzlies and Kings will play the rubber match Wednesday evening in Kalamazoo. Game time Wednesday is 5:35 central time. Fans can tune in beginning at 5:30 on the Grizzlies radio network.
