Florence, Kentucky: Last night, Florence was looking to carry on their winning ways, but failed to do so, falling to Ohio Valley, 10-3.
1,752 fans came out to Champion Window Field to see the contest, which was delayed due to heavy downpours. In the loss, Mike Galloway snapped out of his slump to raise his batting average back over .400 to a comfortable .403. Mark Harris picked up the loss, sorry for the lack of stats, no boxscore is available at this time.
The Freedom take on the Redcoats again today, at a special 12:35 gametime. Then the Freedom finish the series at 7:05 Wednesday night, then head out on the road again. For more information, please visit www.florencefreedom.com.
