
Kings Assign Forward Nick Shore and Goaltender J.F. Berube to Manchester

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have assigned forward Nick Shore and goaltender J.F. Berube to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.
Shore, a 6-1, 194-pound native of Denver, Colo., appeared in three games this season, registering one point (0-11) and two penalty minutes. He appeared in his first NHL game Jan. 17 vs. ANA and recorded his first NHL point (assist), Jan. 21 at SJS.
Selected in the third-round (82nd overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Kings, Shore appeared in 37 games earlier this season with Manchester (AHL), collecting a career-best 41 points (20-2141), a plus-22 rating and 14 penalty minutes. At the time of his recall on Jan. 12, among league-leaders, he was tied for first in goals, tied for third in PPG (7), first in SHG (3), second in points and tied for ninth in assists. Shore was also named to his first AHL All-Star game.
Berube, a 6-1, 177-pound native of Repentigny, Quebec, did not appear in a game during his first recall of the season. He was recently named to his first AHL All-Star game.
Selected in the fourth-round (95th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by the Kings, Berube appeared in 27 games earlier this season with Manchester (AHL), posting a 19-4-5 record with a 2.05 GAA and .920 SV% and two shutouts. At the time of his recall on Jan. 17, among league-leaders, he ranked first in wins, fifth in GAA, third in minutes played (1,608) and ninth in saves (633).
