July 8, 2022 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Kenosha Kingfish News Release

The Kenosha Kingfish will be hosting a plethora of big names at Historic Simmons Field for the Legends Celebrity Softball Game on July 16.

While there is no home run derby at the harbor this year, Wisconsin legends will lace up their cleats and head to Kenosha for some friendly competition.

Celebrity names like AJ Dillon, Jordan Love, Gilbert Brown, Tristan Jass, Ahman Green and Dorsey Levens will all take the field this year for the event.

Dillon, the Packers' third year running back out of Boston College, took a sizable jump during his sophomore campaign. The 24-year-old totaled 1,316 yards through 17 games in 2021.

Love, the Packers' backup behind Aaron Rodgers, will enter his third year in the green and Gold as well. The Utah State alum played in a total of six games in 2021 and made his first career NFL start against the Kansas City Chiefs in week nine.

Brown was a defensive tackle and member of the Packers 1997 Super Bowl champion squad. Nicknamed "The Gravedigger", Brown amassed 99 total tackles, seven tackles for loss and seven sacks in 10 years for Green Bay.

Jass is a local basketball superstar who has made a name for himself on YouTube and numerous other social media platforms. The 2018 Tremper High School graduate has over three million subscribers on YouTube while traveling around the country doing trickshots and collaborating with other celebrities.

Green was one of the most dominant running backs in the early 2000's as the Packers' primary option out of the backfield. Drafted by the Seattle Seahawks and ending his career at Lambeau Field, Green had six seasons of over 1,000 yards while scoring 60 touchdowns in 12 total years. The Omaha, Nebraska native made the pro bowl on four occasions, all with Green Bay.

Levens was the go-to option in Green Bay's backfield before Green, as he played for the Packers from 1994-2001. The Syracuse, New York native made the pro bowl in 1997 while sharing the field with fellow Super Bowl champion Gilbert Brown that year.

All players will be available for meet-and-greets and pictures from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM just prior to the softball game which will start at 7:00 PM. All celebrities, with the exception of Love and Dillon, will be available for autographs.

Tickets for the Legends event can be purchased online, over the phone or at the Kingfish ticket office at the front entrance of Historic Simmons Field.
