Pit Spitters Add PRIDE Night to Summer Lineup

The Traverse City Pit Spitters are excited to announce the addition of Pride Night on Thursday, August 4 to their 2022 promotional calendar. It will be a game for fans to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and unity at Turtle Creek Stadium.
"We are looking forward to a game night celebrating the LGBTQ community and all the wonderful diversity we have right here in Traverse City and Northern Michigan." said Joe Chamberlin, Pit Spitters CEO and Managing Partner. "As a community centric organization, we work hard to be inclusive and to ensure all Pit Spitters fans know we celebrate them. We are excited to be working with Up North Pride on this celebration, everyone is invited, and August 4th will be a ton of FUN!"
The game, against the Rockford Rivets, will begin at 7:05pm and the first 500 fans through the gates will receive a special Pit Spitters Pride t-shirt.
"Since our first year, in 2019, it's been our goal to be a focal point for entertainment for Northern Michigan," said Pit Spitters General Manager Mickey Graham. Whether it's a Pit Spitters game, a concert, or any other event, we want fans to know that Turtle Creek Stadium is inclusive. fun and safe environment for everyone."
Fans are encouraged to show their Pride throughout the night with an addition of a special ticket and Pit Spitters Pride hat combination available online by using the promo code PRIDE.
The Pit Spitters return home Sunday, July 10 to start a four-game homestand. Tickets for this and all Pit Spitters home game can be purchased at the Pit Spitters website - PitSpitters.com. The Turtle Creek Stadium Box Office is open for in-person transactions Monday - Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
