Kenosha Kingfish News Release

Kenosha, Wis. - The Kingfish took game two of their series against the Bullfrogs to record the split with a 7-6 victory.

The Kingfish once again scored first as Gunnar McNeill plated two on an RBI single down the 3rd base line. Pat McInerney drew a bases loaded walk, and Micah Coffey hit into a fielder's choice to make the score 4-0. Kenosha scored two more in the fourth inning thanks to errors committed by Green Bay, and it was a 6-0 Kingfish lead.

Green Bay worked their way back into the ballgame, however, and made it interesting, scoring 6 of the game's last 7 runs. Ryan Orr was sent to the mound to pitch the final 2.2 innings, and struck out 5 Bullfrogs to shut the door on the potential rally.

Andrew Reisinger took the mound as the starter for the Kingfish and pitched 5.1 innings and surrendered 4 ER. Colton Lee and Tommy Hanson combined for an inning of action and let up two runs between the two of them.

Matt Hearn paced the Kingfish offense tonight with a 3 for 5 evening and 2 runs scored. Jack Yalowitz followed Hearn's lead and went 2 for 5, scoring twice as well. Cal Jadacki and Gunnar McNeill both posted 2 for 4 outings, and McNeill picked up a team high 2 RBIs as well.

The Kingfish will embark on a four game road trip, which begins tomorrow night in Wausau against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. After that, they will have a weekend road series in La Crosse before eventually coming home Monday night against Lakeshore.
