Keys SS Pedro Florimon singled but exited the game after coming up lame through first base. In entered Bobby Stevens who scored on a Robbie Widlansky triple to left-center field. The Keys took the lead a batter later when 3B Brandon Waring singled sharply to left-field putting Frederick atop 2-1.

The rains then came putting the game in flux until Friday evening.
