
Keys and Giant Food of Landover Team to Fight Hunger

Frederick, MD - The Frederick Keys, Advanced Class-A Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles and Giant Foods of Landover, MD will host the inaugural Giant Food Community Food Drive to benefit the Frederick Food Bank. Giant Food of Landover, MD is sponsoring a Food Drive that will occur from Wednesday September 1st to Friday September 3rd to kick off Hunger Awareness Month.
Fans who bring a canned good or non-perishable food item will be eligible to purchase a buy one get one ticket. Fans can get up to two vouchers with the offer. Come out and join Giant Foods of Landover and the Keys to help feed our community members in need and fight hunger here in Frederick.
The Frederick Food Bank serves approximately 800 households per month and provides a three to five day supply of food to families and individuals who are experiencing an economic crisis and cannot afford their groceries.
The Keys are headed to the Carolina League Playoffs and tickets are currently on-sale. Game One of the Northern Division Championship Series is set for Wednesday, September 8th at 7:00 p.m. from Harry Grove Stadium. Tickets range from $8-11 and can be purchased by calling the Keys Box Office at 1-877-8-GO-KEYS or by visiting online at frederickkeys.com.
