
Keyes Called-Up

Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce the call-up of veteran forward Richard Keyes to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks.
The Kalamazoo native played in 40 games, leading the K-Wings in points (41) and goals (23). Keyes will play with the Mighty Ducks in their game today against the Cleveland Lumberjacks. Richard is expected to return to the K-Wings lineup, when the K-Wings host the Missouri River Otters on Friday (1/24). The K-Wings will try to avenge their 8-1 loss at Wings Stadium last Saturday to Missouri. The K-Wings lead the season series overall Missouri with a record of 3-2-2.
Besides Keyes returning to the lineup, Friday night will also be K-Wings Poster Night. The first 1,500 fans will receive a FREE Limited Edition K-Wings Poster, courtesy of WQXC. Kalamazoo will also finish the week at home, as they host the defending Colonial Cup Champions the Muskegon Fury. The first 1,000 fans into Wings Stadium will receive a FREE K-Wings Mini-Hockey Stick. Face-off for both games is at 7:30 pm.

The K-Wings also announce the release of center Bryan Farquhar. The rookie forward played in 17 games and had 1 goal and 4 assists.
