Kevin Saurette and Shawn Collymore Returned To Royals

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that forwards Kevin Saurette ("sir EHT") and Shawn Collymore ("KOLL eh more") have been returned to Reading from the Binghamton Senators of the AHL. Saurette (6'0"/190 lbs.) (26) was loaned to Binghamton on February 20, 2007, and played twenty-four games with the Senators, scoring two goals, assisting on two others, and picking up eight penalty minutes. In thirty-four games with the Royals this year, Saurette has scored nine goals, assisted on seven others and picked up thirty-two penalty minutes. Collymore (6'0"/190 lbs.) (23) was loaned to the Senators on February 25, 2007, and played nine games for the Senators before sustaining an injury in a game on March 2 against the Philadelphia Phantoms in which he scored a goal. Collymore has scored thirteen goals, assisted on thirty-two others, and picked up thirty-six penalty minutes in fifty-two games with Reading this year. In separate transactions, the Royals also released defenseman Pat Oliveto and forward Dominic Osman.

It is expected that Saurette and Collymore will be in the Royals' lineup on Thursday, April 5 (7:00 pm) at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, where Reading takes on the Trenton Titans. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
