Florida's Baum Suspended Three Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended Florida left wing Dan Baum for three games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of inappropriate comments made to an opposing player during ECHL Game #854 at Texas on Mar. 31.

Baum is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Baum will miss Florida's games at Pensacola (Apr. 3), vs. Augusta (Apr. 6) and vs. Augusta (Apr. 7).
