Alaska's Metcalf Suspended Two Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended Alaska defenseman Peter Metcalf for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #853 at Las Vegas on Mar. 31.

Metcalf is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Metcalf will miss Alaska's games against Utah (Apr. 4) and against Utah (Apr. 6).
