Kernels host Loons at noon

August 13, 2007 - Tuesday, August 14th (tomorrow) will be the last opportunity for local Kernels fans to attend a noon game at Veterans Memorial Stadium this season. The noon lunch at the ballpark coincides with the normal ballpark special, Triple Play Tuesday. This includes a hamburger, cheeseburger or hot dog with a 20 oz. soda or 16 oz. beer and chips or popcorn for just $5.
The Kernels close out the home stand against the Great Lakes Loons before enjoying an off day on Wednesday. Gates will open at 11am Tuesday, to allow fans to enjoy lunch at the ballpark. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
