
Kernels and Timber Rattlers Opener Suspended to Wednesday

Appleton, WI - The Cedar Rapids Kernels series opener with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Tuesday evening has been suspended midway through the third inning due to inclement weather. The game will resume and be played to completion at 12:10 p.m. CT in Appleton on Wednesday. Following the completion of the suspended game, Wednesday's previously-scheduled second game of the series will be played as a seven-inning contest.
Cedar Rapids led 5-0 heading into the bottom of the third inning when the tarp was placed on the field.
