
Kenosha Scores 3 In The Ninth To Win

Zion, IL -The Kenosha County Fielders trailed 6-4 heading into the top of the ninth; but that didn't stop them from pulling off the comeback Monday evening, defeating the Lake County Fielders by a score of 7-6. Kenosha now leads the season series, five games to one.
With two outs in the top of the ninth, Kenosha would plate two runs and tie the game up. Kenosha then went on to score the game winner on a fielders choice ground ball, hit by John Hasser.
Kenosha was led offensively by first baseman Jason Acevado. Acevado went 1 for 3 with a pair of walks and two runs scored. Kenosha's Chris Wolcott got the win Monday, by throwing two innings of shut-out ball in the eight and ninth innings.
Lake County was led offensively by outfielder Chad Bisnette, who singled, scored a run and walked twice. Lake County's starter Kyle Frets lasted 5 2/3's of an inning, allowing three runs, two earned on seven hits. Taking the loss was reliever Jericco Jones. Jones threw two innings in his Fielders debut giving up three runs in the ninth.
