Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels have placed outfielder Kennie Taylor on the 7-day Injured List due to a left hamstring strain. With the transaction, the Kernels' active roster now stands at 26 players.
Taylor is slashing .235/.309/.318 for a .626 OPS over 25 games with the Kernels, adding 13 runs scored, two doubles, a triple, a home run and five RBI. Since June 17, Taylor has gone 7-for-14 (.500) with five runs scored in five games played.
