
Katrina Wipes Out Three Games

Evansville Otters News Release
Due to the remnants of Hurricane Katrina, tonight's game between the Evansville Otters and the Washington WildThings from Falconi Field in Washington, PA has been postponed. The final game between the Richmond Roosters and the Chillicothe Paints scheduled for this evening at McBride Stadium in Richmond, IN has also been cancelled due to heavy rains. The Ohio Valley Redcoats game against the Florence Freedom from Loeb Stadium in Lafayette, IN has also been called off.
The Otters will begin a three-game series against Richmond tomorrow night from McBride Stadium in Richmond, IN with the game starting at 6:35pm.
Evansville's rotation will be pushed back a day with right-hander Chris Pillsbury (7-7) starting for the Otters in tomorrow night's contest.
The Otters will return home for their final home stand of the regular season on Saturday, September 3rd. Evansville will host the Chillicothe Paints in a three-game set. Saturday's game will also debut the Evansville Otters Radio Network. The Otters/Paints game scheduled for 7:05pm will be carried live on the Otters' flagship station, 91.5 WUEV and will be simulcast on 94.1 WOCU in Oakland City. The pre-game show will begin at 6:45pm.
Sunday's game will begin at 6:05. Monday's game will be a special fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association with a special 12:05 game start.
