Florence Y'alls
Lafayette, Indiana: With another crucial game on tap for the Freedom, they sent Jason Bowlin to the hill, but one of the best starters in the league wasn't enough to contain the Redcoats, and Florence fell 5-4.
Trevor Hall and Scott Martin lead the offense, Trevor hit his 22nd homerun of the season, and Scotty hit his 12th of the year. Josh Sanchez went 1-2 with an RBI, Greg Stone found himself onbase in a 2-3 night. Bowlin went seven innings, giving up three runs on seven hits, striking out four. Ted Rowe (7-4) picked up the loss.
The Freedom will try to wrap up the series tonight, and then head back home to finish the season on a six game homestand, beginning on Wednesday. The Freedom will play the Washington Wild Things for a three game set on Wednesday, then the Richmond Roosters will come in for the weekend to finish off the season at Champion Window Field.
