Columbia, Mo. - The RiverHawks used a ninth inning home run from Olmo Rosario to beat Mid-Missouri 2-1 Tuesday night.
With one out and nobody on in the top of the ninth and the game tied at 1-1, Rosario hit a 2-2 pitch from Mavericks' starter Auggie Rodriguez over the left field wall for his 10th homer of the season.
Rockford starter Justin Olson (6-5) allowed one unearned run and threw a complete-game five-hitter for the win. The right-hander didn't walk a batter and struck out 11, tying a career high.

Rockford scored the first run of the game in the seventh when Nick Johnson hit a sacrifice fly to bring home Rosario, who reached on an error to lead off the inning.
Mid-Missouri tied the score in the eighth as Josh Wettlaufer came home when second baseman Todd Dulaney mishandled a throw to the infield after Eliot Ayala had singled.
Olson retired 12 batters in row at one point and also passed 200 strikeouts for his professional career. He finished the night with 206, second on the RiverHawks' all-time list behind Jason Shelley who holds the mark with 238.
