Kamal Miller, James Pantemis, Samuel Piette and Romell Quioto Called Up

MONTREAL - Defender Kamal Miller, goalkeeper James Pantemis, midfielder Samuel Piette and forward Romell Quioto have been called up by their respective national teams ahead of their nations' Concacaf qualifying matches for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Canada will play both games of this international break at home, first against Costa Rica on November 12 at 9:05pm at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton before facing top-ranked Mexico on November 16, also at Commonwealth Stadium at 9:05pm.

Miller and Piette featured in two of three of Canada's matches during the October international window, playing 180 and 98 minutes respectively, as the Canadians drew with Mexico (1-1) and Jamaica (0-0) on the road and defeated Panama (4-1) in Toronto. With his late substitute appearance against Panama, Piette recorded his 60th cap with the national team. The Quebec native made his senior national team debut in June 2012.

Quioto and Honduras will first play Panama at home on November 12 at the Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano, followed by a clash with Costa Rica on November 16 in San Jose, at the Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica.

In his most recent appearances with the national team last September, Quioto featured in all three of Honduras' qualifying matches, against Canada, El Salvador and the United States. The 30-year-old has been capped more than 50 times thus far by the Honduran national team.
