IHL 2 Kalamazoo Wings

Kalamazoo Wings game preview

November 2, 2005 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release

Game Preview Something will have to give tonight, as two of the league's three undefeated team's battle in Rockford. Besides featuring two of the UHL's top teams, tonight's game between the Kalamazoo Wings and the Rockford IceHogs is also a repeat of last year's first round Colonial Cup playoffs.

The K-Wings early season success has been created by the great balance the team possesses. Kalamazoo has outscored their opposition 16-2 in their first three games and leads the UHL in both power play and penalty kill percentages.

Like Kalamazoo, the Rockford IceHogs are team that also has balance. The IceHogs are the second most prolific scoring team in the UHL averaging 5.50 goals a game, while only allowing their opponents to score an average of 2.33 goals a game.
