Richmond RiverDogs News Release
ELMIRA, NY - A pair of goals from Rookie RafalMartynowski, a three point game from Captain Dan Vandermeer and stellar goaltending from Mike D'Alessandro propelled the Richmond RiverDogs to their first win of the season as they beat the Elmira Jackals by the score of 4-2.
The RiverDogs controlled the scoreboard all the way, posting a 3-0 lead before a pair of Elmira goals in the final minute of play. The team will board the bus and conclude the three game road trip with a pair of games against rival Roanoke Valley on Friday, November 5, 2005 and Saturday, November 6, 2005. The RiverDogs return home on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 as they play host to the Adirondack Frostbite at the Richmond Coliseum at 7:05 pm.
