October 30, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announce the organization will simulcast tonight's broadcast between the K-Wings and the Wheeling Nailers.

Broadcaster Mike Modugno did not travel to Wheeling with the team so he could be with his wife near the final days of her pregnancy.

The K-Wings will air the Nailers broadcast on both 95.9 FM WLKM and on the B-2 Network. Handling the play-by-play duties will be Bob Rotruck, the voice of the Nailers.

Despite the simulcast, fans will be able to tune to WLKM to hear the thoughts of head coach Nick Bootland and the players during the Kalsee Credit Union Pre-Game Show and Auto-Owners Insurance Intermission Report.

The K-Wings will come back to Wings Stadium tomorrow, Saturday, October 31st for a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye during the 6th Annual Orange Ice Game. Fans are encouraged to wear their costumes for trick-or-treating and a special costume contest.

Single-game tickets for any regular season home game are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, call Wings Stadium Ticket Office during regular business hours at (269) 345-5101.
