Kalamazoo will travel to the US Bank Arena today, Monday, February 17th for a 2 p.m. President's Day encounter against the Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season, the K-Wings are 4-3-1-1 against the Cyclones, who begin the week in second place in the North Division (28-18-1-1, 58 points).

The K-Wings will return home on Sunday, February 23rd with a 3 p.m. face-off versus the Orlando Solar Bears on Kibbles and Sticks, where fans can bring their dogs to the game. Tickets for dogs are $5, with the proceeds going to the Animal Rescue Project. Also any fan that purchases a ticket for their dog will also receive a K-Wings Dog Bandana. Sunday is a Family Hockey Day in the 'ZOO presented by Walgreen's, Bronson Orthopedic Sports Medicine, Consumers Credit Union and Charter Media. The first 500 kids that enter through the main doors (doors 1 and 10 of the lobby) of Wings Stadium will receive a Lunchable courtesy of Walgreens and a K-Wings Sticker Pack. Following the game, fans can participate in a post-game skate with the K-Wings (skate rental $3). Sunday will be the first of four meetings between the K-Wings and the Solar Bears, who begin the week in second place in the South Division (28-16-1-2, 59 points).

Home Sweet Home

Kalamazoo will return home on Sunday looking to extend a streak. The K-Wings are on a season-high seven-game home winning streak.

Caria Finds the Net

Forward Matt Caria starts the week with 17 goals. Caria leads the K-Wings in goals scored and ranks tied for second among all ECHL rookies.

The Obscure Stat of the Week

Last Saturday's victory over the Fort Wayne Komets improved the K-Wings recorded to 28-17-1-3. It marks the first time this season that Kalamazoo has been 11 games above .500.
