LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Colorado Eagles (24-15-5-4) suffered their second shutout of the season as the Las Vegas Wranglers (12-30-4-2) and goalie Mitch O'Keefe blanked them 3-0 at the Midnight Circus Game on Monday morning at the Orleans Arena.

Forward Shawn Skelly netted his first puck in a Wranglers sweater off of a cross-slot pass from Chad Nehring to give Las Vegas the 1-0 advantage with less than four minutes left in the first period. The next goal did not come until there was less than ten minutes left in the third frame. Wranglers forward Robert Smith capitalized on a power-play from the low slot to gain the 2-0 advantage over the Eagles. Not even one minute later forward Adam Hughesman beat Eagles netminder Marc Cheverie with the second power play goal of the game to pump the Wranglers lead 3-0. Cheverie made 27 saves on 30 shots while O'Keefe stopped all 24 shots that Colorado threw at him to successfully shutout the Eagles 3-0.

The Eagles take on the Wranglers for the final game of a two-game series on Tuesday evening at the Orleans Arena.
