The Road Warriors are coming off of a 2-1 shootout win against the Florida Everblades on Saturday in front of the largest crowd of the season (6,719). Brad Cole scored the lone regulation goal for the Road Warriors and Michael St. Croix and Kyle Jean scored the shootout goals to push the Road Warriors past Florida. Jason Missiaen made 32 saves to earn the win.
Toledo lost 5-2 to Cincinnati on Saturday. Maxim Shalunov and Kevin Lynch scored their goals and goalie Mac Carruth made 27 saves.
The Road Warriors have only faced the Walleye once so far this season. The Walleye walked away with a 4-2 victory against the Road Warriors on January 26th in Toledo. Andrew Rowe and Mike Marcou scored for Greenville, while goaltender Jason Missiaen made 24 saves.
