
K-Wings trade Barnes to Elmira

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud members of the United Hockey League, announce the completion of a trade with the Elmira Jackals.
The K-Wings will send the rights of forward Ryan Barnes to the Elmira Jackals for a player to be named at a later date. In compliance of the trade agreement, the player the K-Wings are receiving will be decided upon between the teams before or on the UHL Trade Deadline.
Barnes, whose rights belong to the K-Wings, played for Kalamazoo during the 2004-05 season.
The K-Wings will hit the ice four times this week, including twice at Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo will start their week tomorrow night in Flint against the Generals at the Perani's Hockey World & Event Center.
Kalamazoo returns home this Friday, December 30th at 7:30 p.m. to host the Fort Wayne Komets on Fed-Ex Kinkos Night. The K-Wings will remain home on Saturday, December 31st to play the Muskegon Fury during the 4th Annual New Year's Eve Bash presented by COOL 101 FM and WWMT.
Your ticket to the game will give you FREE admission to the party after the game, which includes the COOL 101 FM Rock and Roll Oldies Dance in The Cube, as well as Public Skating in Wings Stadium with music provided by DJ F.I.S.T. Tickets for the game are now on sale.
The New Year's Eve Bash is a premium game night for the K-Wings, which means tickets for the game range from $9-14, tickets for children under the age of 12 are $7. Game tickets purchased on game day will increase by 50-cents.Tickets for just the dance are $20. Individuals needing skate rentals will have to pay $2. The Wings Stadium Complex encourages all patrons who have there own skates to bring them to the game.
Tickets for this weekend's games, as well as all K-Wings home games are available by contacting the Wings Stadium Ticket Office at (269) 345-5101.Ticket office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday's from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com.
