Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud members of the United Hockey League, announce that tickets for their pre-season games against the Fort Wayne Komets, as well as single game tickets for the team's entire 2005-2006 home schedule will go on sale to the public Saturday, October 1st at 10 a.m. at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster Locations.

After starting the pre-season on the road, the K-Wings will conclude their pre-season schedule at home on Saturday, October 15th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off against their archrivals, the Fort Wayne Komets. Tickets for the pre-season clash will be reserve seating and will be available at the affordable price of $5.

Regular season single game tickets for all K-Wings' games will also be available for purchase beginning on Saturday, October 1st. The K-Wings will play 38 regular season home games at Wings Stadium, including their home opener against the Fort Wayne Komets on Saturday, October 29th, at 7:30 p.m. Not only is the October 29th game the K-Wings home opener, it will also coincide with the teams' 2nd Annual Orange Ice Game.

All fans attending the game will receive a Magnetic Game Schedule courtesy of Meijer. Following the game, the K-Wings will hold a special Halloween Jersey Auction with the proceeds going to benefit a local charity.

The Orange Ice Game will also feature Trick-or-Treating for the kids, as well as a costume contest for both adults and children.

Other marquee nights on the K-Wings schedule include the 4th Annual New Year's Eve Bash presented by COOL-FM and WWMT TV3, as the K-Wings host the Muskegon Fury. Muskegon will also be part of another memorable night, as the Fury will visit Wings Stadium on Tuesday, February 14th for the K-Wings 6th Annual Pink Ice Game.

One of the most historic traditions in hockey will continue Friday, March 17th, as the K-Wings host the Elmira Jackals in the 25th Annual Fifth-Third Bank "World Famous" K-Wings St. Patrick's Day Green Ice Game.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $8-$13. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year's Eve game) will be increased by $1. All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game (including the pre-season) on game-day will be increased by 50 cents per ticket.

Season ticket holders that have already purchased their season tickets can pick up their ticket packages starting Monday, October 10th at the Wings Stadium Box Office. Flexi-plan holders that have purchased their ticket package can pick-up their ticket packages on Monday, September 26th.

The Kalamazoo Wings are also planning a special Season Ticket Holder Party on Tuesday, October 18th at the Clarion Hotel on 3600 East Cork Road. The party will take place from 6-8 p.m. All season ticket holders are encouraged to attend this party, as it will be their first opportunity to meet the 2005-06 Kalamazoo Wings.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2005-2006 season of K-Wings hockey are still on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
