Fury back on the radio

MUSKEGON, MI.--- With their 14th season as the UHL's and minor pro hockey's best winning franchise rapidly-approaching, the two-time reigning Colonial Cup Champions of the United Hockey League, the Muskegon Fury, in concert with Clear Channel Radio, have announced on this date a brand new radio home for the ever-popular Fury Monday night program for the 2005-06 season.

FURY HOTLINE PRESENTED BY PEPSI will return for an unprecedented 11th consecutive year at the new radio address of WMHG-AM "MAGIC 1600." The popular weekly Fury show will premiere MONDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 3RD FROM 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. For a 10th successive year, the program will be presented live in front of a studio audience at RACQUETS DOWNTOWN GRILL, downtown Muskegon.

Under this all-new programming arrangement, FURY HOTLINE PRESENTED BY PEPSI will be presented on radio on WMHG-AM "MAGIC 1600" for the first hour from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. At the same time, the full two hours of the Fury weekly Monday night show will be presented live on the FURY INTERNET through the crowned kingpins' official web-site at www.furyhockey.com., from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

Having maintained its community-wide, high-visibility and high-profile as the "best two hours of Muskegon area radio," FURY HOTLINE PRESENTED BY PEPSI, again, will be programmed every Monday night with the two-time reigning championship Fury players, coaches, management personnel, UHL officials and many other hockey-related personalities and dignitaries among the many varieties of featured guests.

As has always been the case, everyone is invited to attend the live Fury radio shows and be a part of the live studio audience. It is a great opportunity for fans and friends alike to gather enjoy the fun and get up close and personal with their favorite Fury players and personalities. The fun-filled show also features plenty of prize contests and giveaways. Meanwhile, listeners on both WMHG-AM "MAGIC 1600" and the FURY INTERNET will also be invited to participate in the program by phoning (231) 855-0739. This is the 11th consecutive year that PEPSI will serve as the title sponsor for the program.

TERRY FICORELLI, the "Voice of the Fury," and the only two-time winner of the UHL Broadcaster of the Year Award, will, again, emcee the program from RACQUETS DOWNTOWN GRILL as well as the West Michigan listenership on "MAGIC 1600."

This is the first year that Clear Channel Radio and WMHG-AM "MAGIC 1600" will partner with the Fury in the presentation of this program.

It is also the first year-ever that FURY HOTLINE PRESENTED BY PEPSI will be aired on the FURY INTERNET at www.furyhockey.com.
