
K-Wings Start Training Camp on October 3rd

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce their 2004-05 training camp will commence on Sunday, October 3rd.
The first day of camp will include players reporting and participating in physicals and the K-Wings customary fitness testing, which is modeled after the same testing used by the National Hockey League. Kalamazoo's first on-ice practice of the year will be Monday, October 4th at 10 am in Wings Stadium.
Training camp is open to the public and the K-Wings are encouraging fans to come an see their hometown team start forming for the upcoming season.
This year's training camp will span over seven days and will feature three preseason games against two top rivals the Muskegon Fury and the Fort Wayne Komets.
Kalamazoo will play the first of their three preseason clashes on Wednesday, October 6th when the Muskegon Fury visit Wings Stadium for a 7pm face-off.
Two days later on Friday, October 8th, the K-Wings will continue their preseason schedule, when they travel to Fort Wayne, Indiana to start a home and home series against the Fort Wayne Komets. Game time in Fort Wayne is 9pm (Kalamazoo local time). The two teams return back to Wings Stadium the following night for a 7:30pm face-off.
