K-Wings' Leisenring Loaned to Bridgeport

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce forward Brady Leisenring has been loaned to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL.

Leisenring being loaned to Bridgeport marks the eighth time this season that a member of the K-Wings has been sent up to the AHL.

On the season, Leisenring has earned 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists) in 20 games this season with Kalamazoo. Leisenring played in two games last weekend for Bridgeport before returning to Kalamazoo earlier this week. Last night, Leisenring earned an assist in the K-Wings 3-2 overtime loss at Cincinnati.

Leisenring, who participated in the training camp with the Sound Tigers, will get reunited with K-Wings Wes O'Neill and Brandon Svendsen, who are currently on the Bridgeport roster.

The K-Wings will continue their road swing this Saturday, January 15th with a 7:05 encounter at the Bi-Lo Center against the Greenville Road Warriors.

Kalamazoo will return to Wings Stadium on Friday, January 21st with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the reigning Kelly Cup champions, Cincinnati Cyclones on Culver's Night and Frugal Fan Friday, featuring $1 beers and $1 hot dogs.

Single-game tickets for all regular season home games are currently on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
