K-Wings Add Two

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, two-time defending North Division Champions, reigning Eastern Conference Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks and New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League's Albany Devils, announce the signings of forwards Scott Knowles and Nick Walsh to Amateur Tryout Agreements.

Concluding his collegiate career at R.I.T., Knowles posted 40 points (15 goals, 25 assists) in 130 games with the Tigers. Prior to attending R.I.T., Knowles played two seasons of Junior hockey in the BCHL with the Surrey Eagles, including the 2007-08 season where he finished fourth in the league in scoring with 90 points (26 goals, 64 assists) and was the Eagles MVP.

Before coming to Kalamazoo, Walsh was a four-year standout at Dartmouth College, where he posted 48 points (21 goals, 27 assists) for the Big Green. Prior to college, Walsh played three years of Junior hockey in the OPJHL, primarily with the Cobourg Cougars.

Both players will in the lineup tonight, Saturday, March 24th, as the K-Wings will travel to Sears Centre for a 7:30 (CDT) encounter against the Chicago Express.

The K-Wings will finish the week on Sunday, March 25th at Wings Stadium with a 4 p.m. face-off versus the Cincinnati Cyclones on a Family Hockey in the 'ZOO, presented by Meijer, Pepsi, Charter and the Kalamazoo Gazette. The first 500 kids will receive a FREE K-Wings

Superhero, Courtesy of Charter. Sunday will be the final regular season home game for the K-Wings and will feature, a FREE post-game skate with the team (skate rental is $3) and post-game team awards.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are $12.90 and $16.90 for adults, $11.90 for seniors (62 years and older) and military (with proper ID) and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $1.
