
Jonne Tammela Reassigned to Solar Bears by Lightning

ORLANDO, Fla. -The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that forward Jonne Tammela has been reassigned to the club from the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League by the Tampa Bay Lightning, Orlando's NHL affiliate.
Tammela, 21, has three points (1g-2a) in eight games with the Crunch this season. The 5-foot-11, 192-pound forward has 10 points (4g-6a) and 16 penalty minutes in 39 career games with Syracuse.
Tammela made his pro debut overseas, where he played for KalPa of Finland's Liiga, where he posted totals of 17 points (9g-8a) and 22 penalty minutes in 69 games.
The native of Espoo, Finland also played two games of major junior hockey for the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League during the 2016-17 season, where he produced one goal.
Tammela was a fourth-round selection (#118 overall) of the Lightning in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
