ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspension.

Rapid City's Poulson fined, suspended

Rapid City's Tyler Poulson has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #182, Rapid City at Idaho, on Nov. 17.

Poulson is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of an unpenalized slew-footing infraction at 12:59 of the first period.

Poulson will miss Rapid City's games vs. Idaho on Nov. 21, Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Indy's Rupert fined

Indy's Matt Rupert has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #183, Indy at Utah, on Nov. 17.

Rupert was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for kneeing under Rule #50.5 at 1:33 of the first period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
