Join Silver Hawks' for Tip-A-Hawk

South Bend, IN (May 17, 2013)-Silver Hawks' players will be trading in their bats and gloves for aprons. Join your Silver Hawks Monday, May 20th at Applebee's on Main St. in Mishawaka from 6:30-8:30pm for the first annual Tip-A-Hawk event.
Players will be at the front door with hosts greeting guests and aiding servers at the tables. All tips raised during the Tip-A-Hawk event benefits Memorial Children's Hospital. Players will also be available to sign autographs for those attending the event. Various prizes such as t-shirts, signed helmets and tickets will be given away.
"We want to give the community the opportunity to meet our players up close in person all while raising funds for the Memorial Children's Hospital. Our players enjoy being around to help out in the community while being a part of a great cause. Applebee's is a great partner of ours so when they suggested this event we were very happy to participate. This will be the first time for this event so we are excited and we anticipate the event will be very well received" states Joe Hart, Team President.
