
Joe Davis Finds Success at the Plate

Greenville Drive News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Drive went down 9-1 to the Hickory Crawdads tonight at L.P. Frans Stadium. Hickory scored four runs in the fourth and five runs in the fifth inning.
Chih-Jung Liu suffered the loss after three innings pitched. Mason Englert grabbed the win after 6 innings out.
The first run of the night came from Trevor Hauver's RBI. Chris Seise moved base runners next and put Hickory up 3-0. Seise also found the dish to make the score 4-0.
The Drive found success in the fifth inning with a Joe Davis home run putting them on the board.
In the bottom of the fifth, the Crawdad's Evan Carter hit a homer that started the string of five runs scored in that inning.
The next three frames were scoreless, and Hickory walked away with a victory.
