Jets Re-Assign TJ Galiardi to St. John's IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have re-assigned forward TJ Galiardi to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Galiardi, 26, has played in 26 games with the Jets this season scoring one goal on Jan. 3 versus Toronto. He was signed as a free agent by Winnipeg on Aug. 1, 2014. In his NHL career, the Calgary, AB native has played in 309 career NHL games with Winnipeg, Calgary, San Jose, and Colorado collecting 105 points (44G,61A) and 136 penalty minutes. He's also played in 20 career Stanley Cup playoff games in Colorado and San Jose where he scored four points (1G,3A) and collected 18 penalty minutes. In 67 career AHL games with the Lake Erie Monsters, Galiardi has collected 28 points (10G,18A) and 32 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in the second round, 55th overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
