Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - Impact U16 forward Jean-Arnaud Tano (previous club: Sherbrooke Sprint) has been called up on Friday to the Canadian U17 team camp, which is scheduled from September 10 to 18 in Panama.
The Canadian team will take this opportunity to play two friendly games. The first will be played on September 15 against Mexico and the second on September 17 against Panama.
"It is always an honour for the club when Academy players are invited to the national team," said Impact U16 head coach Nicolas Gagnon. "Jean-Arnaud Tano is a quick player who can create good scoring opportunities for himself using his speed."
This is the third time Tano has been called up by Canada, after two camps earlier in 2016.
Through his involvement with the national team, Tano will miss the first two games of the USSDA season, on September 10 against Beachside SC and on September 17 against New York City FC.
