Following a bye week from MLS play, Seattle Sounders FC (9-13-4, 31 points) returns to action this weekend against Western Conference rival San Jose Earthquakes (7-8-11, 32 points) Saturday evening at Avaya Stadium (7:30 p.m. PT / JOEtv, Univision-Seattle, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM). Saturday's match is being broadcast throughout Western Washington on JOEtv, with Keith Costigan, Kasey Keller and Jackie Montgomery on the call, with broadcast coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. PT. A Spanish-language broadcast is also available on Univision-Seattle, featuring commentators Jaime Mendez and Diego Arrioja.

KIRO Radio 97.3 FM is airing the match live, with Matt Johnson and Steve Zakuani providing the commentary, as well as Jason Rantz, Wade Webber and Danny Jackson handling pre, halftime and post-match coverage from the studio. Fans in Western Washington can tune-in to El Rey 1360 AM for a Spanish radio broadcast, featuring "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez and Felipe Maqueda. Pre-game radio coverage for both broadcasts begins at 7:00 p.m. PT on Saturday.

The Rave Green look to get back on track after receiving their first loss in six contests under Interim Head Coach Brian Schmetzer down in Portland on August 28. Saturday's meeting stands as a crucial test in Seattle's attempt to climb into position for the 2016 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, with San Jose holding a one-point lead over Seattle in the Western Conference standings.
