
Jared Nightingale Released from PTO

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announced today that defenseman Jared Nightingale has been released from his professional tryout contract (PTO).
Nightingale, 32, played 20 games in Norfolk, and during which time he tallied one assist and 32 penalty minutes. Before coming to Norfolk he played for the Hartford Wolf Pack in s ix games of the 2014-15 season. He tallied an assist and two penalty minutes as a member of the Wolf Pack. Nightingale turned pro out of Michigan State in 2005 as an undrafted free agent and bounced between seven different teams before joining the Admirals roster earlier this season . The Jackson, Michigan native has skated in a total of 443 regular season AHL games throughout his career.
The Admirals square off against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins tonight for their second of back-to-back games. Game time is set for 7:15 p.m.
