Marlies Fall in Overtime to Bulldogs

The Marlies faced off Saturday afternoon for the second game of a home and home against the Hamilton Bulldogs. The Marlies would jump out to a 3-1 lead with goals coming from Brandon Kozun, Carter Ashton and Matt Finn. Hamilton would fight back to tie the game midway through the third, pushing the game to overtime. In the extra frame Sven Andrighetto beat Antoine Bibeau for the game winner. Bibeau made 27 saves in his second start in as many days while Matt Finn's goal was his first as a professional.

The Marlies are off until Thursday for the AHL All-Star break, where they will be represented by Connor Brown. The Marlies are back in action Friday, when they face off with the Utica Comets in Utica. The teams then visit Ricoh Saturday for a 3:00 p.m. match-up.
